Identification of sentence errors

Read each sentence carefully. If you find an error, select the underlined part that is incorrect. Some sentences contain no error, in which case choose answer E.

Example:

If you are interested_A in learning more_B details of chemical reactions, one_C should consult an advanced_D textbook. No error_E.

Sentence correction

Part of the given sentence is underlined. Choose the answer choice which is the best version of the underlined part. Choice A is unchanged. Select the version which is the most effective expression - correct grammar, clear and unambiguous.

Example:

Discount coupons will be available from tomorrow, they can be collected during office hours.

(A) , they can be collected during office hours.
(B) ; they can be collected during office hours.
(C) , and they can be available for collection during office hours.
(D) , these coupons will be collected during office hours.
(E) ; but they can be collected during office hours.
